The "cow...I think many Westerns have that problem. The "cowboys" are supposed to be the good guys and the "indians" are the bad guys. That's what the mainstream public wanted to see at the time. They wanted to see John Wayne kick some indian ass, so to speak. It was superficial and didn't allow for anything more than black and white or right and wrong. Westerns, unlike humans, live in a vaccum.<BR/><BR/>But, I must say that the one channel I do order at home besides HBO and regular cable is Encore Westerns. I love Westerns. There is something nostalgic about them.
